The Gillom Athletics Center has served as a record setting stage for the University of Mississippi’s volleyball team and a tough venue for competitors. Originally constructed in 1996, the facility recently underwent an extensive renovation that was completed in the summer of 2017. Updates to the facility included additions to the volleyball competition area, a weight room and training room and two video rooms for teams to watch film. The building also houses offices and locker rooms for the rifle, soccer, softball and volleyball programs.

The facility also features locker rooms, a team lounge and meeting room. The team meeting room and lounge provides a place for team members to congregate when they are not practicing. Athletes can watch TV, study or play games, including a game of pool, in the volleyball team room.
