Mississippi State University Davis-Wade Stadium Locker Room
This new locker room and recruiting lounge project at Mississippi State University’s Davis-Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss., presented a unique challenge for our project team: Building a high-end space underneath an existing stadium in an unfinished shell space.
To get the job done, ICM worked closely with the University and construction team to develop a schedule and plan that ensured the existing stadium was in mint condition while also completing all of the demolition and construction in time for football season. This took intense coordination on the front end to ensure the owner's normal operations would not be affected.
The new locker room includes a private coaches locker room, full showers and bathrooms, over 90 lockers and a recruiting lounge for prospective players. The locker room was revealed to players the week before kickoff of the 2018 season.
